True be it the manpower crunch, but then again most of us are really well educated people, don't think we need that much of effort to understand commands do we? at this age we're at our primes to be doing stuff, learning skills, participating in sports..
Yes, we do need to learn all the basic skills of art to ur role in case diplomacy fails.. but hey what's next? are we still playing a pivotal role for defence?
Wouldn't it be better if we can serve the service in other ways that will be more useful, like the rowers can go ahead and win our nx medal, volunteering ur time so those old aunties working at macdonalds & hawker centers can rest early with more incentives be given to them, or even doing things like maybe working in the community clubs, non profit govt organisations..
Isn't that better than lobo-ing around?
