Oct 15 i posted,
"I'll jet off to bali..."
Gee, hahas funny part is that it was just a passing thought & hey Presto! I'm boarding my flight tml!
Once again i get to take a plane.. all the talk by Sim & all is making me excited for Bali. and of course surfing!
Woohoo!
Halloween in Bali.. :)
Doing Kayak Orientation Programme (KOP) for pri sch kids really proved one hell of a challenge..
and yes through there, i learnt a fair bit too, even though i had to shout a couple of times..
Wonder wad do parents teach their kids nowadays..
Everyone just seem to be so pampered, not able to withstand small things like sitting on a sandy grass, sand particles stuck in the shoe, etc etc..
Sigh. and to think these are my "hou-dai"..
haha, and lastly to add. Do catch the social network movie.
Its one awesome show!
"Many persons have the wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness...is not attained through self-gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy purpose."
As the title of the post goes, that is so damn true..
A matured group are so much communicable and interesting..
This is one big loop hole in our society.
Why the need for an rounder education system be made in a way that students be forced to do things they have no wish in? and as a student, why not just treat every new thing as a learning experience and follow through with a beating heart, not a slouched one?
Sigh.
Today i had to give up on one, and blow my top on the rest..
wad an eventful day.. :(
I finally met up with sherwin & the rest of the 11B's gang.
plus vanga dropped by WVSB today! :)
and ya..
The sad emo reality of a NSF is slowly creeping into me.
like wad derrick said "your life will change from a free one to so much a regimental.. "
omg lah.. a dog. an empty shell.
2 years lei.. not a track i want to run my train on.. and i hope this thought will stay saint and fresh..
Time seems to slow down when you see your timeline ahead of you.
If only I'd the money, i'll jet off to Bali or gold coast and be typing this from the beach liao..
Sad that i'm too, going to be missing some of the wonderful trips that are upcoming.
Confined!
Opportunities are sought by yourself..

so a nice video, those were the moments..
"smile a smile, pass the smile, be happy... "
all that matters now.
The last two weeks had been valuable to me, looking back it seemed just like a small dream bubble; the road ahead is still so long.. But it was the best travelling experience in my 20 years.
Penang - Ipoh - KL - Cameron Highlands - KL - Melaka.
I'll always rmb my 20th, spent in melaka at the cafe near our backpacker's lodge. was sitting at a table with a group of other fellow backpackers playing a dice game.. its called fucker! haha.. In the background, soft acoustic music was played, and drafts of coffee brewing drifting in & out.. :)
Climbing at Ipoh's Tambun wall with Hee, Dan & Lydia was another great opportunity. In the outdoor, there aint tiles to tell u how to go.. the whole wall is yours.. as long its reachable and stable, go for it.. and the sheer height means only hearing the wind howling and insects' symphony, the higher you go!
Camp5 @KL's one utama's another superb place too, no wonder the climbing community sings praises about it. what you need, they provide. so many walls and routes for one to try. and its aircon! hehes.. the only bad thing is the accessibility from KL central and the steep price of living in KL.
Cameron Highlands.. hehes, hadnt been trekking since KK last year, and it was a good short one. I was amazed by the power of a land rover 4wd as it brought us thru this "road" to the start of the hiking trail.. "its not even a road.. " a fellow backpacker said.. yes thats true, as we climbed steep inclines, some even so narrow that one wrong wrong turn and off we go.. not to forget the whole path is soaking wet mud! hehes, eating steamboat in the cold weather was a great feeling too.
Penang was the food capital of Malaysia! and all i could rmb was eating and eating.. haha, hats off to their chendol too! i rmb ordering the cold delight in sweat, but yet feeling all cool & motivated after downing the bowl.. I wont mind having it anytime now!
Melaka's a city stop in time.. a mix of old and new. Quiet, peaceful and all the people seem to be friends looking out for one another. I rmb waking up to a blacksmith's knocking too, surprise to see this trade still plowing.. :) I find singapore rather 'noisy' now..
and lastly, it was the backpacking culture that i was truly great.. Its a hard to describe feeling, and u gotta try it to know it. Though everyone are complete strangers, it just feels like friends.
Truly an experience i've gotten more than I wished for!
