I always feel sad and lethargic whenever coming back home to the little red dot.
sigh, i guess its just the body and mind adjusting.
Batam was great, in a sense that i can take things slow, no need to think, eat and sleep.
hahaha.
i hope derrick and KY enjoyed themselves all the same, for this trip is afterall dedicated to them.
soon-to-be-NSF.
it was a pleasure travelling with you all.
pls pardon my snores.
stayed at holiday inn batam.
it really is 一分钱一分货.
even though, i guess we stayed at one of the most expensive hotel there, the service was really pleasant. and so is the breakfast too.. gosh!! i nv had such a long slow hearty breakfast for a long long time man. hehes, i wonder if i can just one day pop into some random hotel for their buffet breakfast?..
had my first massage experience too.. haha! damn epic was i cause i really didnt noe wad to do when we got inside the place, and all i see was a mattress.. now i know!, anw ya, the experience not bad lah, i felt asleep during the head massage.. :) and its damn ticklish whenever they press on my legs.
shopping wise. nth much to buy.. perhaps the best deal was just the ralph lauren flag edition polo at sgd 69 (Rp 399000) for two.. i couldnt believe wad i was paying for initially as the poster wasnt up, until like last night.. and when the sales girl entered $69 on the calculator for two i was really shock. :)
ate quite alot for this trip too. i gotta run more for this week liao..
though the trip was more towards a getaway, it was worthwhile.
recharged and revitalized
like they say the grass is always greener on the other side.
To Dad and Mom: Thank You for being there ALWAYS. :)
TO 1A03! you guys and lady had been a wonderful lot! picture perfect!
To Jacob and lard! Cheers :)
Well, its the end of the road here for me.
Three years. Bye SP.
Memories aplenty, pictures above are most of the key persons that played much in molding myself to a better, strong, confident person.
Not forgetting the adventurers too, but haha, got too many individual shots than to be posted here. but yup, u people are the backbone for my SP life.
Thank You! good wishes to the current management!
to 1A03: haha, no comments but i think we are the best class in deee ah, got the weirdest combo.. but then, w/o all this nonsense class would not be the same ryt?
chalet on 1st weekend july aye..
haha, i was having alot of thoughts to write a moment ago, but i lost it all. thanks to facebook..
but anw, yup, i just wana thank everyone that came down for my ceremony esp dad and mom..
work pretty much sums up most of the time.. and some training(s)
then yup, the catch-ups and stuff.. really do gotta treasure all this time spent, some to army, some to uni and overseas, wont have that much of a time in the coming future liao..
May is also another busy month. weekends are already lined up.. hahaha. :)
to say..
i'm disappointed with the way things are now..
maybe its karma cus i used to think like that when i was in the planning stage.
but now that left that shoe.. the view does change.
the attitude & stuff, leaves me to think whether this is business or pleasure?
then again, its not for me to be doing all this already..
i'm just glad i still have friend(s) to be around..
out with that.
now the good stuff.
i enjoyed my leave.. hehes.
quiznos always brightens the day..
cant wait for more pay to come.. and more trips too.
spent the day recuperating & had dinner w parents n bro at old airport road hawker.
Golly! the place is huge, no wonder its so crowded, really spoilt for choice..
the good items tried:
- Orh luan (oyster omelette)
- Chee Cheong Fan (w the prawn & char siew inside, v fresh)
- Char Kway Teow
- satay
Disappointment:
- La-la (too wet & pricey)
- stingray (meat too tough)
- wo-tia (would be good if not so over fried)
- Hokkien mee (blant!!)
nx time:
- western food
- crocodile soup??
- thai food
hehes. pretty up sums up the foodie heaven. and dakota mrt is next to it only.. woohoo.
thanks sean for the heads up.
After that, took a train to promenade and Marina Bay sands.
walked across the helix bridge, wondering why the big publicity over the opening of a bridge, its just the unique design i guess.
then got human jammed outside for awhile as humans and vehicles jostle for priority to move.
Finally we got thru, wanted to idle outside the casino for pictures but were turned away cus i was in berms.
But anyway the shopping mall looks nice, with the high ceiling and glass facade, but little disappointed its not fully decorated - a half painted picture.
The hotel on the other side was better. very classy and awe. not as big as i had pictured it to be though;
haha, looks like singapore is popping up more and more posh places to be..
~develop more of outdoor sports too!
Mutual respect is an important component in life
To ask for things nicely & seeking the other POV is one example.
if that cant be done, why ask in the first place..
sigh.
guess i'm just disappointed with the way things turn out.
on an end note.
i love the weekends.
cause i can wake up w/o hearing the sound fr an alarm clock. :)
