saw this fine array of black spots and the whole desk is covered in it.
first thoughts was that some insect died there or wad..
but on closer inspection they are BLOODY tar particles from cigarettes.
!@#$%^&*()!!!
and since i dun smoke, it could only come from outside the window. thru the wind as my inconsiderate wish he gets lung cancer neighbor does so everyday.
now here's the question: smoke or hot air rises, but particles are heavy so they should sink right?
so which is my exact target now; the upstairs loser or the downstairs fucker?
they call this the eye of the storm.. i would call it, calm among the chaos.
Nature and weather is just so amazing. was at bedok the other day when i experienced a storm. not that i nv been thru one, this was special, in the sense that i have a visual on it approaching. superly cool. Initially, the skies darken and the wind starts to pick up in our direction.. From afar, the background starts to fade out as if a movie screening is beginning.. the back facade of PLA disappears. Then, you see the rain clouds slowing moving closer. as it hits the water, u can practically see from a distance the droplets hitting the water at high velocity.. Just like the countdown to a space shuttle launch, at time 0, the storm hit us in the face.. sea breeze and butter peppers! i am watching day after tomorrow.. I then felt a moment of calm amongst the storm, as if time stood still. "calm among the chaos.." a little later, raindrops kept falling on my head..
but i am glad to let it fall, cus i'd a sealine bag and i saw the eye. :)
today went on a delivery to sentosa cove and one degree fifteen.
my mind was totally blown away when we entered one degree fifteen.
gosh! the sheer size of the marina and the finishing.. poof. bagus.
then went onto cove walk or something the road. there were some houses there. one of them was developed with one Lamborghini parked outside and the rest in the midst of it.
I stepped into one. and walk towards the backyard. aww man, its dreamy man. u can practically park ur yacht there and maybe kayak stuff like that..
That, is the high life!
maybe my future retirement home.. :D
on the sidelines..
i now know why they say to be a student is the best..
and still waking up at 0830 in the morning, thats a totally in thing.
Waking past 10am is considered taboo.
Contented is me able to read the paper and enjoy my hot drink mug..
Sad to read about the removal of long bus journeys and i agree with the writer that we Singaporeans are too dependent on the MRT.
I sure miss the times when i converse to school in 151.
It all goes down to our society norm where everyone is kiasu and wanna rush for everything. That explains why the growth of us owning cars, cause having one enables you to leave later than usual compared to public transportation.
Growth in cars at one same period than equates to traffic jams and ultimately people shunning the buses altogether.
The train on the opposing end resolves all this pet peeves but still does not solve the norm in the first place, we are still kiasu and rushing for everything. People still keep right on the escalators, rushing to board the train when the next is just a minute away..
To me, i support the bus. Felt it drills the spirit of waking up early and preparing for the days' plans into you.
or rather i would cycle if i get my bike :)
Thai politics is another interesting squabble.. haha, isit just me or wad cause i enjoy reading the media coverage on that issue.
which brings me to another point: the hero and/or idol of perfection may not be always right, do not let him influence ur own thoughts..
I am still finding my stand. my life.
I need a beach getaway. Anyone keen?
Hehe. This is just perfect. Sorry Sig i hijack ur photo.
i came across this phrase somewhere, lingered around for a bit and I'm thinking if that can be true.
sigh..
On more pleasant terms, I've made my first big purchase today after a long long while.. hahaha.
