Poly 50's over.
it had been a tight race, with lots of new teams on the block & nevertheless more competition.
i'm glad our main objective was achieved: to bond we seniors & the incoming jnrs.
The team standings are 16th for team1 and 27th for team2.
Ironically, our team2 is also team27 on the list. hahas, such a small world.
We did it in 1hr31mins - 10mins better than our prev time. ;)
The down part was that i felt we could have done better, its kinda disappointing that we went back empty handed.. aft all the hard work we've put into the trainings.
oh well, maybe its just me being over-competitive.
Next up: Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009.
Semester exams are round the corner too, haiss, I shall set a deadline for play to die down aft National Day; 9th Aug.

Via Ferrata! /23:59
today was a darn good day~
well, i slept in late den woke up to eat lets see, salad for breakfast? i dunno mom made me finish the whole bowl, hahas.
Aft that went to singtel to change plan to youth plans, so theoretically i can now sms to anyone under the sun n its all free! woohoo!
Got a new phone in the process too, Nokia 6730 classic. but, its still lying in its plastic now, i m too lazy to take out to charge n i wanted a new pouch to house it first before i start leaving the scars onto it. yeah.
Aft that went out to amk to meet tai, veron & lard. had the shiok "koi" bubble tea there, n went to orchard central soon after.
i'm starting to seriously fall in love with this mall, its gives me a "calm haven" kinda feel when u enter. & the shops theme are superb, got quiznos, boulderx, etc.. & there're these little cushy arm chairs to rest urself when u're tired. =)
I bought my gold n black havainas too, nice.
& the best, was climbing the via ferrata at boulderx.
its the tallest indoor via ferrata wall in the world, n its within a shopping mall, how cool is that.
The structure is basically 4 stories high, & yup i find it a total new experience.
the climb isnt tough to say, just to grasp the understanding & there u are. totally relaxing.
the four of us made it to the top in abt half hr, which was nt bad. our instructor, zaki, was an ex-sp student too, cool!
As we finished ahead of time, he let us try the sports climbing wall nx to it.. not bad for a climb & the wall was a fairly new layout for us, so yea.
overall, it was a gd experience, well-spent money, plus its one-for-one too.

i cant wait for the via ferrata at Kinabalu. the view wow, excited. (the 1st pic's at kinabalu)
our instructor told us that the via ferrata there is easier than the one in sg. so yea i'm definitely looking fwd to taking it mother nature. hehs.

Ah-hahas, at long last i finally got to savour a taste of the king of fruits.
Sweet smell of the thorny fruit, woo.
& i ate two diff grades too, D24 & the mao shan wang.
i just learned that bitter durians are the nicer ones, so hmmm..
Maybe i should try some mangosteens nx time.
The atmosphere at highland centre was good too.
Bro was talking about overseas trip this nx holidays.
Tempted me back to the bangkok days again.
& the one distinct feature is her street food.

OMG< look at the big hot dog & the chicken steak, was like S$1 or sth.

PPCDL pract in under 2weeks, somehow i'm excited about that.
So do nx thurs, going to Istana for reception.. my 2nd visit, or rather my 1st not counting the one i had when i was an innocent boy oblivious that the field i was running ard was the president's lawn.
Harry Potter was quite alright for a show la, entertaining but too much for teenage romance, hahas.. & GV plaza kinda sucks. the seats were awfully bad, n the popcorn tastes like butter. eeyish.

Sunday nuah-hed at home, changed bedsheet & tidy room.
grandma was superbly nice, i think she rocks cus last week i mentioned that i craved for her fried minced meat & there she did all the effort of cooking it n bringing it down.

Today, had training again. it was in evening much cooler; dunno if its cus of the weather but i felt great!
den went home in a finely calculated precision n came back to campus in time for the last train out. hahas, sg's transport system is awesome cus its so time-based..

Tml's PGT paper, & i certainly do not wish to suffer a deep shock when i get back my control modules.
Having PGT lab now, lecturer not doing much, letting us explore the prog, hopefully this coming labtest i dun "chua-sai" again.
A few days ago, i was waiting for bus at my hse's bus stop. saw this trio of old ladies with graying hair dressed prettily, they were laughing & chatting, even going about the habit of dusting the seats for one another.
The feeling i felt when i saw that was: warm & hearty.
I wonder would I have these life-long friends..
