anw good news is that mom is discharged alr. but she hadta to be confined to clutches & wheelchair. pray hard that she master the art of using it so can get back to work soon. =)
Mom slipped & fell, had to be warded for observation. doctors put screws into her ankle, as she'd fractured them on her fall. the cast ard the ankle's as big as my forearm. reali sad thing to happen at this time frame. tml's supposed to be reunion with gramps & all, plus our own on sat. but well... i dunno, i'm just praying for a speedy recovery..
Mixed Feelings.
I too, myself been procrastinating alot lately. work is piling up: SPA, proj deadlines, exams..
There's just this limited time frame with infinite probabilities of problems. F_ _ K!.
why am i jus so unlucky huh. I just had my notebook hang on me which makes the total count to 3time today. WTF. The advice was to update bios & yes i did, still the same. haiss. seriously I'm begining to feel that me & electronics are having ba-zhi-xiang-cong (8 characters clash) in chinese. =( =( =(
& i recently found out too that handphone batteries are not supposed to be charged overnight. Must stop charging when its full. I learnt that the hard way as well. deng!
I almost lost my phone today. quite a WTF scenario. but i feel obliged to share with all. ok, first of all tis has no links to discrimination to any or what-so-ever ya..
Well, as usual we were on way to clementi after kayaking. Taking 189. Me & botak sat at the front seat. i duno how my phone slipped out my pocket as tis instance; but nv did i realised. Yea, as the bus got crowded we gave up our seats. Then i felt there wasnt any bulge on my left thigh. so went back to the seat which got tis Malay aunty now. asked her if she see my phone, give me that dumb look. Thank goodness botak called my no, & i heard my distinct tone ringing IN HER BAG!! F**K!! man.. it was hidden underneath some clothes or sth.. LOSER.. where's ur civic education? The most default idealogy if u find sth that doesnt belongs to u in a public place, its to hand in onto is my case the bus driver.. Seriously damn loser..
Anw. town was a big human chain today. every shop seemed to be having some big mega sales or sth, queues everywhere. omg. i'm still contemplating if i shd get a pair of levis.. hahas there's still lots to want to buy aye. pray hard for cny to come faster la.. =)
I feel that i'm having having more sleep time but yet getting sleepier.. Jialaut lahh, think i got some sleep deficiency syndrome?..
I watched the Terminal ytd, starring Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta Jones. It is really a very good show i would agree. Tom Hanks character feel so much like my lecturer, Wittahya.. HAHAS.. =)
Mondays is the dreaded day of the week. There's just too much communication with a machine language that makes ur head go round! akas programming.
Above pic was taken at Serangoon. The bus was obviously heavily tilted to the left, yet the driver still allows passengers to con'd boarding.. omg!, accident waiting to happen onli.. & very surprisingly indeed, the bus was able to move off from the bus stop! WOA.. i wonder wad will happen if it makes a sharp right turn...
.... ok, ytd was reading tis article in the papers abt the teens nowadays not having enugh sleep time, & that the recommended sleep hours is 8hrs for age 18.. Tried it out last night, & the result was quite good.. =) woke up feeling refreshed & saint.. Supposedingly, that would aid concentration in sch. hmm..
& OH YES. Jason Mraz is coming to Singapore ,Live. YEAH!!.. 5th march '09 =)
New Year's countdown was a blast tis time. Tgt with alumnis we went over to sisters island for it. Had a cozy, tasty bbq.. must take my hat off to those alumnis whom always have their way with making food taste so great!! =)
Den came the fun part. Ard 11+ we drove out to near the marina barrage there to watch the fireworks.. hahas, it was a whole new experience to sail at night lor, & when we arrived at the area, it was a whole parking lot of yachts.. wooaa.. some with onboard parties too!! As the clock stroke midnight, the fireworks party started.. Yeah! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Alas to the ongoing spectacle in the skies, we had our own seafarers "symphony orchestra".. Those big cargo ships n yachts had their onboard lights brightened to a shiny tuxedo.. & they started playing the piece, by blaring their horns & smaller crafts accompanying with air horns.. Bright red flares shot up one after another decorated the venue, signalling the climax of the piece. & yes it was a marvalleous piece conducted.. hahas, i think if any ships were to be in distress at that time, nobody wld be able to come to their rescue lor..
We stayed on a little more to "soake in" the festive mood before heading back. The skyline was covered with a think layer of smoke, shading the CBD area.. seemingly it looked as if we were under attack frm enemy forces n we were on the rubber dingy as offensive.. hahas..
Back to sisters, was playing cards for the night & back to PM in the morning. It was argueably the best countdown i had experienced thus far.. Big thanks to the alumni n cyn n ang for coordinating it! =D
... Back to sch ytd. wad a contrary to the festive mood lor.. had to stay back frm 12 - 3 to wait for cta makeup lecture too.. But on the gd side, i got back my maths paper & was pleasantly surprised by the results.. i got an A man!.. ~
Cheers to all. Wishing everyone to be well & happy in 2009!!
