Woola, back from phuket aft a mounts of delay.. Touch-down at sunny spore 0218am.. (or shd it be sleepy spore).. Anw, phuket is superb relaxing, kickback lifestyle n e natives are nice too, always willing to lend a helping hand.. =D
Thurs morning, Arrived Changi airport @4am.. - poof, freaking early.. But airports nvr closes.. Checked in at jetstar counter n went into departure lounge le.. =p ~Always loved e departure area, super nice lor, jus walking ard though most e shops haven open yet.. Slacked at burger king which overlooks e aircraft docking area, watching e ground personnel goin abt their duties, weazing ard in their cars..
8am, time to go to e boarding gate.. n Wait again.. haiz, planes nvr leave on time.. ok, boarded plane aft awhile, gd thing abt jetstar was that it has alocated seating so there aint snatching..But e down part is that e leg-room is real little.. darn squeezy jus enough 4 me to lik sit up-straight.. well, neitherless its budget airline cant expect much, n its a short flight..
Arrived at phuket an hr later.. Woo, quite small their airport compared to changi.. Buying gum was immediately wad bro did.. lolx he ahh.. den got tis guy to pick us up 4 city tour.. Wenta tour e cashew nut, tshirt factory, jewel shops.. wanted to get tis shirt that was a lilo offensive as dey compared bananna sizes according to countries which was erm, u noe reference to wad, but mom objected soo.. lolx.. Later e tour guide showed us activites to do lik exploring phi-phi island, rafting, diving, adventure trekking.. I very much wanted to try e rafting n diving but it takes or day or so n hadta think of e majority.. so didint much try it, mayb e next time!..
Checked into patong beach hotel, n since dey cant allow 4 ppl in a room, hadta split n use e balcony to get from one room to another over a wall.. Decided to chiong 4 e long bath since i dun hav one at home.. hehex.. before heading out 4 lunch.. walked to a nearby mall along tis road called "Bangla Road" lolx.. it was loaded wif pubs n such so can see many of e angmohs jus siting there chatting.. Had thai-style lunch at e food court of e mall.. dey are hi-tech sia, onli cashless transaction, to use smthing lik ez-link card.. Aft lunch headed 4 a walk outside.. wasei, e temperature is HOT man!.. somemore want to tis makeshift area similar to bugis street, all covered using zinc roof, freaking hot jus standing inside plus dad wanted to bargain further cus i wanted to buy tis singlet there.. diaos..
Walked back to hotel as bro n mom dun quite agree wif e heat.. =( Chilled there til evening den walked to tis hotel serving buffet @199baht.. ~so cheap! Quite nice n had cocktail ordered.. hehex.. =D Nite was a much better time to shop la, cooler weather.. wif more shops being set up.. Grabbed a few other stuff den headed back to hotel 4 e nite..
Woke up quite late on day 2, had hotel breakfast.. wasei man its dominated by e angmohs staying there sia.. Seriously its not onli in our hotel, almost in e street oso same same.. U'll see them lik in shops, restaurants.. SO, its likely to see preferential treatment too.. Worse thing is that some of them dun giv a damn abt it , n looked down on e ppl.. Shacks sia.. =(
2day headed to e other part of e beach area n once again dad was bargaining when we wanna buy stuff.. hahahas.. Surprisingly oso is that its real hard to find a proper thai restaurant along e patong beach.. lik its all western cusine or fast food.. hais.. later on, me n dad took a walk further up exploring other areas, n found tis hotel that i've seen damaged by e tsunami, rebuilt exactly e way as b4.. hmmm, most of the beachfront ,walkways were rebuilt too.. To the extend that i feel that it was overdone.. Its not as original to enjoy e sea-breeze that kindof thing.. Ooh well..
Dinner was fabulous on 2nd nite.. Had seafood! omg, its freaking fresh lor.. N u get to choose wad style u wan + handpick e weight of e fish as its charged by weight..BEST part: we get to seat by e beach.. Simply wholesome goodness!.. Thats e life man!.. Seating n eating while watching e sunset b4 ur eyes, e ppl vacating e beach.. To top it off, my cocktail's called "Adaman Sunset".. Shiok ahh.. mmm, e food was delicious wif gd service.. I would dream to go back again, serious..
Aft dinner, walked ard digest food n bought dvds.. e newer shows werent that clear so onli bought bean's hol n LOST2.. weex, costed me onli S$10 when its $79 for the original.. =D
Day3, woke up darn early wanting go see sun-rise.. but e rained as soon we stepped out of e hotel.. boox.. so wenta breakfast.. Now i noe why, e asians r e early risers while e angmohs sleep late.. No wonder.. Day was spent ard e mall area lor, cus inital plan was to slacked on e beach but since it was raining n there aint sunshine.. 4get it.. but did managed to experience that wave though.. hehex.. =D
So fast, e trip's coming to an end, why does gd things always end fast?.. =( traffic caused e bus to be late, n worse still further ahead.. ~ its real fun driving up n down e winding hilly roads..
Reached e airport onli to get bad news.. our flight was delayed an hr frm 8.30pm to 9.30pm phuket time.. sians.. e airport doesnt hav much to do either.. Things got worse when we went into e departure area.. e flight was delayed further til 11pm den 1130 den finally 12.30am.. (0130am spore time) walau ehh, ours was supposed to be e earliest flight out of phuket now its e LAST.. =( Darn that plane la, it wasnt even on e ground til 12am lor.. sians, lucky brought m notes so was studying at e airport..
But e return flight was a Valuair jet which was by sense more comfy as it had more leg-room.. =D N e Captain was in a damn rush la, didnt even wait 4 e plane to be onto e runway b4 starting e throttle alr liao.. Snoozed on e flight, even though mom said there was turbulence.. ~missed it!.. Anw, we finally landed 0218 spore time.. den its duty-free shopping b4 heading home..

Flag Day was one hell of a time 2day man!..Ok, Met wenling at hougang mrt at 7am instead of 0645.. LATE.. Took train arrived jurong east at 0750 instead of 0730.. LATE.. N worse-still, waited awhile 4 e rest to arrived.. LATE.. Well, admit it we're truly a class of LATE lah. Collected donation bags at 0830 den wenta mac 4 breakfast.. Seems that we always eat mac during flag days sia!..
Re-filled n started to ask 4 donations ard jurong bus interchange, starting was hard as jurong's a real sleepy town aft e peak hrs.. Soo, dunno why i came up wif tis idea n started targeting e bus drivers!.. There was tis nice uncle that donated to us, n we ended up pasting flags over him.. Hehex.. Soon after, his colleagues donated too..
Anyway, wenling, sean, jon, betrand n myself decided to leave jurong 4 raffles place.. While waiting to board service 97, saw tis poster been put up " Do Not Harras Our Drivers!".. Muhahahas!.. =D On e way, played wackos - pretty much e upper deck was ours..
Arrived Raffles Place 1120, still early 4 e lunchtime crowd, so slacked ard.. N oh, thanks sherwin 4 coming down to donate 4 me.. hehex.. 12pm, chiong ahh.. Crowds were kinda generous 2day, giving dominations lik $2, $10 + coins.. Nice.. Sunshine was hot too, n stood almost an hr in e sun.. Kudos to wenling lah, omg U reali dominate 2day man.. =)
Lunchtime over n decided to lik "call it a day".. Gave up trying hard to find places to eat in crowded Shenton Way, so decided to head back to jurong to IMM.. ~ SMRT has nice floorboards 4 to sit.. hehex..
Ate LJS at IMM n here's e fun part.. "Someone" absentmindedly left her donation bag on e table to go toilet.. Good samitarians of us picked it up n well, held onto it.. Ok, return from toilet n we window-shopped around e mall 4 an hr or so acting as usual.. Den, Omg she realised tt e bag wasnt wif her!.. Shit it wasnt in me n sean's bag either.. Dang!.. Run run back to LJS, Guojing met up wif us there, n e bag was transfered to his bag.. Weex, made a din outside, asking to ring e bell to call 4 help.. Wad a Laugh.. Hehehex.. Bag eventually returned laa.. We're good people.. =D
Later da grp of us chilled at food court aft that "race" ard e mall.. Just For Laughs.. Shijun, shawn joined us.. Mervin left earlier cus got some stuf.. we debated DE, almost turning into a warzone!.. ~Got tis grand idea that came into my head. Ola man!, wanted to start tis programme wif tis cca sean's creating.. SP gags!!.. Woots, it would be nice lightening e atmosphere..
Headed jurong entertainment play pool.. Phoof.. Nice n tyco.. Wif Grand Advisor Jonathan 4 guidance.. lols.. Played ard an hr til its reali time to call it a day! So returned to collecting point n returned bags.. e officers there were super kind too, offered us free green tea n later had fun again as dey had too many bottles so ended up giving it to the public.. ~See! thats e attitude that i like, Good Exchange between both parties unlike tt bastard officer we had in e other flag day..
Bidded goodbyes finally aft a long day.. I would definitely luv to do charity wif tis organisation again! N Of cus wif tis group!.. Seriously though we clowned around n played, i felt a sense of achievement at the end of e day.. Seemingly that i had helped put a smile on someone's face..

Back from Berkelah expedition.. Woots, Luv it!.. =D
hmm, lets recap..
Started our journey frm sp.. Gathered at CLS block, ice-break, brieifng.. N e guys carry e extra equipment, food n stuff.. ~ok la, gd training.. Sunset, mrt-ed over to kranji 4 transfer to woodlands checkpoint, 170 was alr squeezy n add on our big big bags, hahas..
Ok reached spore customs n passed e usual formalities, den Walked over e causeway.. great, e greatest welcome gift before e trip - e exhaust fumes.
Passed malaysian side den everyone chiong e mama store buy chweing gum while waiting 4 e coach to arrive.. 9.30pm, boarded coach n officially began our trip.. 6-7 hrs on e road wif e usual stop at yong peng.. N goodness e driver ahh, is reali a damn chiongster sia.. Swerving in n out of traffic like his grandpa's road.. Racing wif tis goods lorry somemore.. wakao ehh.. N e darn irony is that he lost his way!.. Omg, stopping in e middle of nowhere, went out smoke n nvr say.. ~diaos..
Lucky e seniors hu went there last yr managed to direct him.. was kind enough to drive us in halfway, save us trekking time.. - Picture a bus rampaging thru e narrow paths of macritchie.. lolx..
Trekking in pitch-darkness was fun n something new too, but e experience was fun loads.. Reached e foot n had breakfast den nap awhile b4 setting off agn once day-break.. Set up base camp somewhere near e middle portion of e waterfall, that was almost 12 hrs since departure.. Pitch tents, set up cooking area n unpack.. Den wenta chill in e cool water which was crytal-clear.. Hell no will u ever see such a sight in spore man.. Discovered tis spot where e current was damn strong.. Shiok man, lying down there, better than jacuzzi.. =P
Had maggi 4 lunch den set off 4 e summit.. Ola, tis portion was e challenge.. w/o e heavy bags was nice, however e slippery rocks proved e threat.. was mainly about whether u dare to put ur leg out anot onli baa.. Anw, conquered it n reached e top.. Super cold e water there n e view was majestic! Managed a few dives into e water.. Brr~ Den lay on top of e rocks to dry e shirt.. Weex, though e sunlight was lik freaking hot, its very shiok sia.. - now i noe how a croc feels suntan-ing..
Idled there 4 sometime b4 making e descend back to basecamp.. Descend was harder i think.. Made it back jus in time.. Oh, since we're in e middle of e jungle, there aint any toilets or so.. Everything was done in e wild.. hahaz.. thats cool.. =D - lik tarzan..
Dinner den wanted campfire but apparently most of e grp were tired so that was called-off.. e guys in my tent werent tired yet, so jus sat chatting til outside was lik silent liao.. e slp was nice, wif e occasion breeze from e stream..
Woke up @6+ i think.. wash-up, breakfast.. den pack up get ready to depart le.. took some pictures b4 departing that serene spot.. Reached foot safe n sound n since e bus aint coming in agn, hadta trek out to e main road.. Abt 4-5km walk i think.. Hmm, surprisingly walking at nite seems to be better than walking in e day sia..
Aft walking an hr or so baa, reached e main road n had refreshments at tis lilo cafe there.. Ahh, i luv that ambience to eat in e middle of nowhere.. Boarded coach later n seemingly dozed off on it, dunno y how i did it too, b4 reaching tis toilet stop.. Later on, was watching Constantine thru e journey.. Den Poseidon.. ~movie marathorn..
Bought tao-sah biah from a town stop later..
-Hadta swopped buses cus e current one cant get thru to spore.. E newer bus was brighter but i still prefered e latter, more cosy..
Breezed thru customs, cus wanted try out e new system where u jus self-scan to pass thru customs.. weex, so fast.. 2nd link had no jams , but becus of e bus transfer n stoppages, reached SP onli lik 10+.. Lucky sherwin's dad was there n gave me a lift home tgt wif charmaine..

Happy Birthday to yishan, huiya.. Well, ytd wenta yishan's hse to gave her a surprise tgt wif devo, jing, kc n kaiwen.. Well, anw steamboat was loads of fun n many of those crapped logic.. hehex, dey played dota aft dinner n its fun watching..

Aint a gd day at all.. Firstly, e bus ride t sch... Omg, got tis 2 girls sitting directly behind us on e bus, n dey can talk non-stop abt their idols n their album 4 almost lik 45mins sia!.. WTH, damn irritating la, so loud as if wanting e whole bus t noe their worship.. diaos.. =( N trafic was bad bad bad.. So much so that e driver removed e number plate, which means onli drop-off, NO pick-up.. ~ coolx =P
2nd thing, I m so god-damn careless 2day!.. left my laptop under e desk while leaving class.. Realised onli when reaching FC2 n hadta run all e way back.. Luckily no next class aft tt, n asked e help of tis nice lecturer hu helped me open e door.. - *phew, breathe a lilo of cold sweat*..
Proj 1 class was nicey, as ended up watching mervin n guojing play GTA.. so fun , wacking e cars.. Lolx, Go home sure t play it..
Decided pon struct prog, cus wasnt feeling too great.. e weather's horrible n didnt slp tt well last nite, had a bad neck-ache.. ~ wenling n khairul oso left lolx...

Woola, back from phuket aft a mounts of delay.. Touch-down at sunny spore 0218am.. (or shd it be sleepy spore).. Anw, phuket is superb relaxing, kickback lifestyle n e natives are nice too, always willing to lend a helping hand.. =D
