~ The sunrise that probably none of them saw or remembered.
It had been one interesting weekend at ubin.
one big fact is that none of us had bathed the 2 days there.
Ultimately, i'm happy for the jnrs whom survived the camp and seeing you all bond.
Also kudos to the comm, you all did a great job.
and esp so to the food team once again, food really is the motivating force for us all i believed.
I'd always like seeing the newcomers work the solution to something, the solution though not always feasible, always gave me a chance to learn something off them. its as if learning is interchangeable. I liked that and i felt all shd realized that.
Proven in this case is the way they handled the jungle bread, for the past 2 years who've been taught to dip the stick into the dough coil it like spaghetti and roast it. solution given, results cooked bread on the outside crust and fresh dough on the inside.
Ytd i saw them peeling parts of the dough den taking it out, rolling it neatly onto the stick in bite pieces. Solutions not given, results baked tasty bread.
;)
Other than that, the tears, the cries, the experience, the shoulder to leaned on. Hope that all of u all brought something back fr it. And may tis proved futile for YOUR future events..
"In youth we learn, In age we understand"... thats some food for thought.
and ya to the jnrs "Fear for failure is the reason for not trying.."
